This funky whiskey rides the border between sweet and savory. Its sweetness comes mostly from vanilla and honey with a slightly floral note, but it's cut down the middle by strong licorice/anise flavors and sharp clove. It has a chewy weight and leaves quite a dusty coating on the tongue, with a finish that's more burn than flavor.
