Mc Explorer 2009 Port Finish

McExplorer is a limited release of Vintage rums. This rum is a great traveler: it was not produced in Scotland, but in the Caribbean.

Then it crossed the seas for its final maturing stage, in the cellars of the House of McCallum, one of the oldest Scottish families.

In Scotland, the rum received a finish in Port Ruby barrels.

Nose: Caramel coffee, aniseed, brown sugar
Palate: Marmalade, cooked brambles, creamy, toffee
Finish: Soft, fruity, lemon zest
